Ken Ceder, CEO, was formerly co-director of Hippocrates Health Institute in  Boston, Massachusetts. Ken formed OTT Light Systems Inc. in 1987 after meeting and collaborating with pioneering photobiologist Dr. John Ott; the father of "health enhancing" full spectrum light. Ken sold his rights to the Ott trademark at the time of Dr. Ott's passing and formed the bioLight Group (bLG) in order to expand Dr. Ott's research & vision to the next generation of biologically beneficial lighting products.

Currently bLG designs and endorses bio-beneficial "light activated wellness" systems that advance Dr. Ott's original fluorescent light technology to the premier eco-technology of light emitting diodes (LED).

Intelli-Lite is a registered trade mark of the bioLight Group and the Intelli-Lite brand represents the 'shape-of-the-future' for light therapy technology. Additionally the Group serves as a  catalyst for raising awareness of what Dr. Ott coined — Mal-illumination ...the silent epidemic.
